Mr. Stenberg can potentially be of assistance to a client in a number of ways:

1. Keeping the client current on the thinking of State Attorneys General as it relates to the client's businesses;
   
   
2. Reviewing corporate business practices and recommending changes to avoid future legal difficulties;
   
   
3. Periodically reviewing customer complaints forwarded to the company by State Attorneys General offices and making recommendations on how to best respond;
   
   
4. Helping to resolve issues of conflict with, or lawsuits filed by, one or more State Attorneys General;
   
   
5. Providing an outside, independent view of a particular area of concern within the organization;
   
   
6. Assisting the client in developing and implementing a proactive strategy to help avoid issues with State Attorneys General or to resolve issues before they become major problems.

Every situation is different and needs to be assessed individually. Considerations include the strength of a company's legal position, the views of the Attorney General(s) involved and the staff involved, the likelihood other states may become involved, the potential for and seriousness of adverse publicity, and whether a particular settlement will lead to increased demands from others.
